1000 Varieties - Peru is the birthplace of the potato!

Saturday morning I walked a couple blocks to the neighborhood market in San Jeronimo and found .......  Potatoes everywhere!  Potatoes of every shape, size, color and texture!  I'd never seen so many different kinds of potatoes!

Believe or not, there were still even more potato varieties in the market that I did not get pictures of.
